Professional welding machine FORBY® MIG 200 LT PRO
FORBY MIG-200LT PRO is a compact inverter welding machine designed for professional work, combining MIG/MAG, MMA and Lift TIG functions. IGBT technology, a fully digital LED control panel and synergic settings ensure a stable arc, low spatter and easy operation both in the workshop and on site. The machine is ideal for car body repair, light structure fabrication, metalwork repair, farm use and service workshops. It provides good weld bead shape and sufficient penetration with 0.6-1.0 mm wire and electrodes up to 4.0 mm in diameter.

The welding machine is an inverter type and uses advanced IGBT technology. The inverter converts the 50Hz/60Hz AC mains voltage into DC, which is then transformed back into AC by a high-frequency (20 kHz) converter.
IGBT technology allows efficient adjustment of welding parameters, ensures a stable arc and reduces energy losses.
Main features of the machine:
MIG/MAG mode
- Current range: 50-200 A
- Wire diameter: 0.6 / 0.8 / 0.9 / 1.0 mm
- Suitable for welding with:
wire with shielding gas (CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mixture)
self-shielded (flux-cored) wire without gas
- Polarity change: quick switching between MIG (with gas) and FLUX (gasless) modes (front polarity switching cable).
- Additional functions in MIG mode:
Inductance adjustment - for arc "softness/hardness"
Wire feed and gas check
2T/4T operating modes
- Application: steel, stainless steel, aluminium (with suitable wire and gas).
MMA (stick) mode
- Current range: 10-200 A
- Supports electrodes: Ø2.0 / Ø2.5 / Ø3.2 / Ø4.0 mm
- Hot Start function: for easier electrode ignition.
- Arc Force function: stabilizes the arc and prevents electrode sticking.
- VRD function: reduces open-circuit voltage (for safe work).
- Application: suitable for most general-purpose electrodes (rutile, basic).
Lift-TIG mode
- Current range: 10-160 A
- Required equipment: separate Lift-TIG torch and argon cylinder.
- Ignition: the TIG arc is ignited by touching and lifting the electrode ("Lift-TIG").
- Application: steel, stainless steel (not aluminium, as there is no HF ignition).

Designed for 5 kg D200 welding wire spools. (With the main wire holder removed, it is also compatible with 1 kg D100 spools)
Easily accessible wire compartment - the wide-opening compartment allows quick spool changes and convenient maintenance and wire threading.
Reliable 2-roll wire feed mechanism - ensures stable, even feeding and precise tension adjustment with anti-slip protection. Supplied with a 0.8mm / 1.0mm drive roll.
Compact and mobile: easy to carry and easy to integrate into a welding trolley.
Robust and durable construction - the powder-coated housing is more resistant to scratches, corrosion and intensive daily use.
Solid design without external protrusions - reduces the risk of impacts when working in tight spaces and makes transport easier.
Ergonomically designed control panel - clearly arranged buttons, synergic control and a bright LED display allow quick changes of settings.
Protected electronics zones - electronic components are separated from the wire and dust entry areas, making the machine more reliable in long-term operation.
Fan cooling and IP21S protection class - longer service life and protection against dust and moisture.
Heavy-duty DINSE 35-50 connectors - for secure connection of earth clamp and electrode holder cables.
Torch and earth clamp sockets - all necessary connections are ergonomically grouped at the front, making work tidier and faster.

QUICK AND CONVENIENT GAS HOSE CONNECTION
1. The integrated quick gas coupling allows the gas hose to be connected or disconnected easily and quickly. This shortens setup time and makes moving and transporting the machine easier.
2. Supplied with a 3-metre pressure-resistant gas hose with a quick coupling on the machine side. The optimal hose length gives more freedom to position the welding machine and gas cylinder conveniently at the workplace.
ROBUST CONNECTORS DESIGNED FOR HIGHER LOADS
Heavy-duty 35-50 welding cable connectors ensure reliable contact and stable current transfer. They are designed for higher loads and help reduce connector heating and energy losses. Compared to budget-class machines, which more often use 10-25 connectors, 35-50 welding cable connectors provide an additional reliability margin.
The standard EURO connector for the MIG torch connects welding current, gas, wire feed and control contacts in a single connection. The torch can be quickly connected, disconnected or easily replaced with another compatible MIG torch, while the threaded lock ensures a secure connection during operation.
FORBY welding equipment focuses on quality, durability and ease of use, which is why even compact machines feature higher-grade solutions such as heavy-duty 35-50 cable connectors and a universal EURO connector for the MIG torch.
