Plasma cutting machine FORBY® CUT 40 LED
The development of inverter cutting equipment is driven by advances in inverter power and components. The CUT 40 LED inverter plasma metal cutting machine first converts the 50/60Hz operating voltage into high frequency (above 42-50KHz) via a high-power IGBT device, then reduces the voltage, regulates the current and delivers high-power cutting current using PWM technology.Plasma cutting machines can create a stronger, more concentrated and more stable arc. The arc is strongly constricted by fast-flowing air, and the temperature can reach 10000-15000 degrees. This creates an ionized state and forms a powerful plasma arc. The unit has functions that allow you to adjust the cutting current and the gas post-flow time after cutting.
What can it cut?
The CUT-40 LED is suitable for cutting practically all conductive metals. The machine creates a powerful, concentrated plasma arc with a temperature of 10,000-15,000°C, so the cut is fast and clean.
Stainless steel - suitable for both sheets and profiles.
Carbon (structural) steel - sheets, angles, pipes, profiles.
Aluminium - thin and medium-thickness sheets.
Copper and other non-ferrous metals.
Cast iron - depending on the structure.

The machine is an inverter type and uses advanced IGBT technology. The inverter converts the 50Hz/60Hz AC mains voltage into DC voltage, which is then converted back into AC voltage by a high-frequency (20 kHz) converter.
IGBT technology allows efficient control of the operating parameters, ensures a stable arc and reduces energy losses.
Main features:
- Plasma cutting range: 1-18 mm - suitable for both thin sheet metal and thicker plates.
- Stable inverter IGBT power supply - cleaner cut, lower energy consumption.
- LED display - clearly shows all parameters: current, voltage, gas supply, modes.
- 20-40 A cutting current - an optimal balance between precision and power.
- Touch (contact) ignition - a simple and reliable arc ignition system.
- Overheating protection - automatic shutdown in case of overload.
- Working pressure 0.3-0.45 MPa - uses a standard workshop air system.
- Efficiency up to 83.6%.

TW2000/02 pressure reducing valve (installed in the plasma cutting machine) - a high-quality air preparation and supply component that ensures a stable and clean flow of compressed air for plasma cutting. It is mounted directly on the rear of the machine, so the user can immediately see and adjust the required air pressure.
Precise pressure regulation
The valve allows you to precisely set the air pressure required for work - usually 0.3-0.45 MPa, as specified in the cutting machine's technical requirements. Stable pressure is essential for: proper formation of the cutting arc, less spatter and longer consumable life.
Integrated pressure gauge
A clear, easy-to-read pressure gauge lets you see the air pressure in real time.
This helps to adjust the air supply according to material thickness, cutting speed and machine parameters.
Air filtration (water and dirt separation)
The TW2000/02 has a transparent filter bowl that collects: moisture from compressed air, oil residues and solid particles.
Clean air is critical for plasma cutting - moisture or dirt can: cause an unstable arc, burn out consumables faster and degrade cut quality.
Condensate drain
Water accumulated in the filter bowl can be quickly removed using the drain valve.
This helps maintain consistent air cleanliness and protects components from corrosion. The valve is located on the rear of the machine, next to the cooling fan, so:
- pressure can be adjusted with a single turn of the hand,
- the current pressure reading is always visible,
- the filter is easy to remove and clean.
Protection for the machine and consumables
- High-quality air regulation and filtration directly increase:
- the service life of cutting consumables (nozzle, electrode),
- the service life of the plasma torch,
- cutting stability and precision.
Why is the TW2000/02 an important component of a plasma cutting system?
A plasma cutting machine is very sensitive to air quality - it is one of the key factors determining cut cleanliness, tool durability and the reliability of the entire system. The TW2000/02 pressure reducing valve:
- ensures optimal pressure,
- prevents water from entering the torch,
- maintains an even air flow,
- reduces operating costs.
Compact and mobile. Easy to carry, convenient to use both in the workshop and outdoors.
Solid front design. The plastic front panel and air vent design protect the internal components and reduce the risk of impact damage during transport.
Clear and functional LED control panel.
Convenient top carrying handle. Ergonomic and sturdy, it makes it easy to move the machine between workstations.
Protected electronics zones. Integrated protection against overheating, overvoltage and incorrect input voltage. In case of overheating, error E2 is displayed.
Efficient cooling and IP21S protection class. A powerful fan and IP21S protection ensure a longer service life and protection against dripping water and small dust particles.
Robust connectors and ergonomic front. Large-diameter plasma torch connector, sturdy earth clamp, conveniently arranged sockets - for quick and tidy connection.
Automatic voltage compensation. The machine operates stably with ±15% input voltage fluctuations.
