Laikiklis skirtas "Sherman MTM 251" suvirinimo aparatams, tačiau jį galima naudoti ir kitų gamintojų įrangoje su šia galimybe. Jį daugiausia rekomenduojama naudoti automobilių dirbtuvėse ir suvirinant plonus lakštinius metalus. Naudojant "Spoolgun" laikiklį galima suvirinti dviem skirtingomis vielomis nekeičiant suvirinimo aparato. Laikiklis turi standartinę EURO tipo jungtį ir valdymo kištuką.
