Filling Instructions:

•     Screw the shunt onto the mother's CO2 cylinder.
•     Insert the cartridge into the shunt socket.
•     Check if the air release valve (silver) is closed, if not, close it.
•     Set the copper knob to the ON position (cartridge valve opening).
•     Gently unscrew the valve on the cylinder (you will hear a hissing sound).
•     The filling process is in progress.
•     Once the filling process is complete, close the cylinder valve and set the copper knob to the OFF position.
•     Unscrew the vent valve (silver) – you will hear a short hiss (if it hisses all the time, check if the cylinder valve is properly tightened).
•     Remove the cartridge from the slot.
•     Ready!

Our advice:

•     when using a mother bottle without a sedimentation tube, you have to turn it upside down
•     release any remaining gas from the cartridge before refilling
•     you will fill the empty cartridge completely, if you put it in the freezer before filling it, it should be cold
•     when filling, place the cartridge on the scale to control the amount of CO2 being transferred, you can transfer a maximum of 425g of carbon dioxide
